Who can join the Contest Site of bux.to?

Membership is limited to bux.to members with an active bux.to account, since Prizes can only be attributed to existing bux.to members.
Therefore only valid bux.to usernames and their corresponding bux.to-account email address can be used to participate in Contests.
Members who by mistake used any other username/email to sign up for buxcontest.com can ask for a Name change to bux.to username

How can I participate?
Each member can enter one (1) text for each separate Contest organized.

Is every entry accepted?
Entries are liable to approval by staff before being published on the forum. This pre-selection will depend on the nature of the Contest and its Contest-specific Rules.

Can I write in an other language than English?
Yes. You can write your entries in English or one of the following languages: Deutsch - Français - Español – Nederlands. Following approval, the translation into English will be posted by our Translator Team beneath your original text.
No other language but the four mentioned can be accepted.

How does an entry enter the Contest?
Once published in the forum the entries automatically enter the Contest.

How does the voting works? Who selects the winner?
Approved entries get sorted into voting round groups to receive member’s votes. The highest scoring entries go to the final voting round to receive votes of the Staff. The outcome of this final vote results in public declaration of the winners on the Forum. No discussion about results is possible.

What can I win?
The prizes for each Contest we organize are published in the Contest-specific Rules.

What are Contest-specific Rules?
Following the onset of each new Contest the specified additional Rules valid for that Contest are be published together with the Contest description on the forum of that contest.

Can I retract my entry?
All participants give BuxContest.com and bux.to the full rights to use any element of their entries buxcontest.com for public display and advertising purposes while respecting the member's privacy.
Therefore entries cannot be retracted or modified.
